Appointment of New Chair

Mobile Infrastructure Forum is delighted to announce the appointment of Jonathan Freeman as Chair, taking over from Belinda Fawcett following completion of her two-year term. 

Belinda Fawcett said: “Over the last two years the Mobile Infrastructure Forum has established itself as a leading industry voice for improved mobile infrastructure, our  proactive engagement across national and local administrations on a wide range of topics has resulted in considerable progress” 

Jonathan Freeman said: “The members of the Mobile Infrastructure Forum have invested £bn over the last decade to support UK mobile connectivity. It is a pivotal time for digital infrastructure in the UK, the forum is focused on achieving an environment that is conducive to similar investment over the next decade, removing barriers through planning reform, effective building safety regulation and finalisation of reforms to the Electronic Communications Code to enable efficient deployment everywhere. I am honoured to be taking over from Belinda and look forward to building on the exceptional leadership she has provided”
