The Digital Connectivity Forum today published is report on how Local Authorities can act as Connectivity Enablers, focusing on how collaboration between the Telecoms Industry and local government can transform connectivity for citizens and businesses.
Local decision makers have a critical role in enabling the installed of mobile infrastructure which underpins wireless services and local economies. MIF welcomes the recommendations in the DCF report and supports the ongoing work across Government and local authorities to enable consistent and pro-telecoms decision making.
Whilst also noting the need for further progress in this area so that everyone in the UK can benefit from the next generation of wireless connectivity.
